would my classic sti 555 benefit from a re map?

Default would my classic sti 555 benefit from a re map?

as above its a 95 sti 555 with stainless back box k/n panel filter and de catted up pipe. i run it on optimax and octane booster. what would i get from a re map to uk fuel with these mods. i have a rr printout showing 294 bhp before the back box was fitted.what kind of popwer would i get and would i need a different fuel pump. cheers all advice welcome

yes do it. Best mod I ever did. Not only will you not need to worry about octane booster any more but will probably give you + 20 BHP, more torque and much less lag

yes get a fuel pump and map at graham goode motor sport
should get around 330 bhp and you will notice the diff

A lowly MY94 WRX wagon but with a TD05 and a remap and its probably just about as quick as yours (circa 280 BHP)

but you car could be wicked with a good remap. May as well get a fuel pump, but may not need a regulator (I don't).

Do it mate..... Your car will be better on fuel. It will feel quicker and you won't have to use octain booster again and not worry so much about the engine going bang!!

I got a RB5 WR and took my PPP ECU off and sold it, following a TEK2.5 remap. Best mod I ever did

You know it makes sense, so get on with it.
