Default Wheel studs.

Well as you know ive had a problem for a few weeks regarding the Cam sensor. Well i fitted it today and all seems good so firstly thanks are in order to the guys who helped!!!
Well it seems I cure one problem and cause another.
While working on the car i decided to take of the wheels and check brakes shocks etc.
Well in the process 2 studs were seized and i sheared them off trying to get them undone. I used copper grease when i put them on but i guess they havent been off for ages and it was past been usefull.
Well to the question. Where can i get the studs. 1 front, 1 back for a 95wrx wagon. How easy are they to replace?

You can buy them from the dealers, iirc they are a 2-3 quid each and it is simple enough to change them most garages will be able to do it.

I dont use garages M8 i just wanted to know if they are a dealer only part or a standard i can get at an after market shop for less money. I also wondered if they were welded to the hubs or just fitted with a spline that i can knock back out. No offence but thats why i come here the only time my car sees a mechanic is for the MOT. I spent 4 years at colledge and the same time in an engineering apprenticeship to save me that financial insult...LOL

Wish i did not have two left hands when it comes to mechanics! You will need a wooden hammer to knock the studs out just dont be too rough with them, once its out put the new stud in put the bolt on and tighten till you are happy.

Thanks ill phone Allan Kay tomorow. If they cant help ill phone the dealers.
At least they are not welded in that was my main worry. Few are i guess but ive worked on cars where a broken stud=new hub or lots of grinding and a jig to weld it back in. If they were welded i would have sent the car to a garage for the first time in the 6 years i owned it!

PS im in doncaster south yorkshire.
