Default Anyone use a HKS EVC IV?

I just put on my HKS EVC IV that i bought off a mate second hand and there is more turbo lag now than there was with the bleed valve i used to have, should there be more turbo lag with this or is something wrong? The pipes going to the new HKS boost solanoid are longer than original maybe this is the problem i dont know.
Any ideas?

I have one, but it was already fitted to my car when I got it. Have you run the self learning mode???

no i havent done that seems abit awkward you have to red line it in 3rd gear for it to learn your boost curve or something. Suppose i'll have to find a deserted road somewhere and have a play if thats what needs to be done to sort it

Well I would advise it. If that doesn't solve the problem then at least you know there is something else wrong. Might as well try the simple options first
