The ecu should cope with it but it depends how much, all ecu fuel maps differ and you can only know how high the fuel map goes if you can view the map.
I ran 1 .1 BAR on standard UK ecu and it hesitated at high boost, my guess was not enough fuel but my Z4 will run 1.2 BAR very happy.
Standard MAP sensor is only good up to around 18 PSI.

Was thinking more along the lines of having it remapped again after I fit the new turbo and IC for max safe boost.
Then if I turn the boost down for daily commute will it lower the fuelling map to keep the correct afr or will it just run very rich.
