Changing up and down-pipe on a Bugeye WRX
Alrighty Folks,
I'm planning on de-catting my up and down-pipe.... will i be able to do this job myself, i'm about a 3-4 spanner man according to Haynes, lol
Not got that much experience working on cars but anything i've tried i've managed, i know that there is generally some issue's with Nuts that don't wanna come off but is this a complete stumbling block or the usual "skinned knuckles slow you down by 2 hours but get there in the end jobs"
Also, if i do what gaskets would i need to buy and would i need anything other than the gaskets, up-pipe and down-pipe??
Cheers
Chris

changing up and down pipes
changing the down pipe is a peace of cake but it starts getting tricky when you do the up pipe as you have to remove the turbo. also you will have to get it re mapped when changing them.

There are instructions and pics on changing the up-pipe on www.scoobymods.com
I had a look at doing it myself..... then having read that decided to leave the job to someone else

Providing you have decent tools and use plenty of wd40 there should'nt be a problem. Have good quality tools is a must
