Default cylinder no.3 tapping hole for oil temp sender

Guys,

Someone recently installed an oil temp gauge for me. There's no wire from the oil sump plug so I assume the sender has been put in the tapping above cylinder no.3. I'd like to confirm that.

Can anyone describe where this tapping hole is? Is it visible without removing the IC? I think I can see the water temperature sensor. Is it near there?

Thanks

David

between turbo and inlet manifold, down by the block breather, I'll see if I have a photo...

Thanks. A photo would be really helpful. Maybe I am looking at it, rather than the water temperature sensor.

Rather than us guessing where your "someone" installed it, why don't you ask him ?

LOL. I can do (and will do if I need to), but learning yourself is always good because it helps to learn about what you're looking at. I don't need anyone to guess where it's installed, I'd just like to know where this tapping hole on the no.3 cylinder is.
