Default Rear light cluster removal

I own a classic scoob and have finally found where my boot is leaking from. Need to remove near side rear cluster so i can put some sealant round it, removed the nuts inside the boot but it seems stiff and don't wanna break owt

Are there any clips to remove as well that i've missed, and does the trim(below the cluster)come off wtih it

Make sure you have removed all the nuts, then warm the sealant with a hair dryer. Should do the job

hello mate...i had the same prob too.

the trim is connected still once you remove the cluster.

check that you have got all the screws out(cant remember how many).

theres 1 screw that hides out the way...its on the end tucked down away on the curve end of cluster.(hope that makes sense)

if your sure you got all the screws off then pull with a bit of force but be gentle....it feels very stiff but its just the old bonding sticking.

as you pull youll see the old bonding stuff..all i did was got a old knife and just scraped it away.

good luck mate.
