Default Boost pressure modefied new age STI

I have a question regarding the boost pressure on a STI new age (MY05).

I have a compnany in Sweden that will install Autronic plug n play box and some other goodies in my car this week. My question is, what boost pressure should they map in the car?

Is it safe to run 1.5 bar on every gear?

What does a Ecutek STI have in boost on each gear?

Regards

1.5 should be fine, although youd probably be hard pushed to get it up there in 1st

Yes I know,

But Instead of letting the car peak above 1.5 bar, I will go for a map that will have 1.5 at every gear. The stock turbo is of course to small for 1.5 bar in higher revs and it will slowly decrease in boost.

very true, it will probably trail off to about 1.2bar at the top.

Does anyone know how much the stock turbo is capabable to deliver in hp?

My engine setup is:

FMIC
Wallbro fuel pump
AEM cold air kit
DP + up-pipe
Turbo back exhaust system
Autronic Plug ´n play

I was running 350bhp on my STI before changing the turbo; spec was APS TMIC, APS cold air, Walboro fuel pump, 3" turbo back exhaust, Ecutek remap.

Johan

Boost isn't the only limiting factor. The std ECU can cope with running a particular boost figure as it's got proper control of the ignition and runs it quite close to det (if it's mapped properly) but is able to sort itself out using it's adaptive learning strategies. A 3" exhaust will also give you boost creep at higher rpm so any ECU won't be able to reduce the boost as necessary to control the det either.

What else have you had done as that is 19.91 PSI wihch is higher than std. Mine peaks at 19/20 PSI but drops back to 17/18 PSI at high revs. Mine is MY05 STI PPP with no further mods.
