Default changing TEK2 ecu to standard/PPP ecu, straight forward swap?

as in does everything work ok (keys/imobilser etc) without re-programming?

does anything need configuring or is it plug in and drive away?

one other thing, what sort of price could i expect for my TEK2 ecu? straight swap for PPP or £100-£150 plus std ecu for mine sound about right?

As far as I know mate the Prodrive ecu should be a straight swap for the Tek 2 without any problems.

Can I ask why you are changing it?

You should get roughly £300 without exhcange ecu for the tek 2.

Cheers

i could live with that sort of amount!

thinking of changing it as i'm probably going to sell the car and while i think it's a great piece of kit, a full decat and only being able to put optimax in it (or s/unleaded+booster) isn't everyones cup of tea.

will probably try to sell as modded, but throw in the option of supplying std. parts. seems selling a scoob needs all the help it can get

I did a swap from standard ecu to ppp and it was just a straight swap, what sort of power were you getting from the tek-2 ?
I just went to the latest rolling road day at TEG sport, I have a my00 uk turbo with ppp ecu magnex twin dump down pipe, home made center section, scooby sport back box, panel filter and intercooler piping and got 270bhp and 270lb ft I was well chuffed, was only expecting around 250bhp

got 277 bhp/270 torque on my full decat + panel filter with the TEK2 remap, was on PE rollers which are a bit generous apparently. would expect around 260 in the real world

great result for yours though

so everything worked ok with your swap? alarm/ immobilser etc?

I had 279.5 bhp and 270 ftlb torque with full decat and STi panel filter.

Good piece of kit for not a lot of money imho.
