Default electronic boost controller!!!

hi guys,whats the best electronic boost controller to get,only really after a basic one, ( low on ££££ at mo) also is ther much advantage over mbc? just looking to increase boost but only very slightly. cheers

i cant say for sure cos im not an expert
but that looks like a very old model avcr
cos i got a new 1 last year and its away bigger and better
looking than that
i have no complaints with the model i have
think it cost about £300
but im sure the newer model could also be got off ebay

Then only advantage over a MBC is that you can adjust the boost without getting under the bonnet and have RPM/gear dependent boost settings (on the AVC-R anyway).

I had mine mapped with a dawes for boost control.

Whichever option you go for make sure you get the fueling right and watch the det.

yeh very true mate,prob just go for dawes as once its set prob wont touch it anyway.
