Default Please give advice on cat

Currently, my car is stock in terms of exhaust and engine. I am going to retain the cat on the UP pipe for the environment.

I am thinking about chopping off the last cat converter on the mid pipe of my stock catback and have a new pipe welded in place. Frankly, apart from losing the expensive stock cat, I cant think of any downsides in doing so.

What do you think? (please help me by filling in the blanks)

Thank you very much for your kind contribution.

Pros
1. smoother flow = slight increase in power
2. shouldn't cause any CEL issues
3. unaffected Low end torque
4.
5.

Cons
1. a tiny bit louder than stock
2.
3.
4.
5.
