Hello all.



After joining the Richard Burns Run and listening to some of the subarus there ive decided its about time to up grade my exhaust system wich is standard at this time.

I have a MY01 JDM STI (Bug eye), im after a full system from turbo back loosing the cats, i want a 3" straight cut tail pipe and fairley loud exhaust, Reall WRC sound to it.

Anyone got any ideas on what make is best.

Hayward and Scott is probably the best (which I now have on my MY01) Not too loud nut a really nice note on tickover and acceleration.

I previously had a TSL Tiphoon (too loud) and a Magnex Oval (which was really nice too).

Edit: or an alternative full system to the H&S, what about the Milltek?

 

RCMS downpipe and revolution rest, good combination for power and noise i've been told

 

Blitz NurSpec are pretty good. Nice exhaust note again on acceleration and tickover.

 

blitz nur spec r cat back system with motorsport downpipe,this is the setup i have on my 02 sti,with uprated fuel pump and tek 3 remap by pat herbourne at the excellent scoobyclinic,pure wrc sound iff thats what youre after.

 

STI GENOME back box plus Hayward and Scott centre section are the best to go for,it sounds like Porsche!!!!!!
