Check water pump they have pressure relief valve when the head gaskets go and car over heats the valve lift releasing the pressure to protect engine , can't reset them new pump required , once they have lifted they will allow water to leak out . Happened on mine cam belt removal to change , water pump bottom right of engine .

hope this helps

A sure fire way to determine if the head gasket has gone is to do a gas analysis on it. Any MOT station can do this. Hold the gas probe above the header tank with the pressure cap removed. If there is any HC measured you have a problem. On a gasket only leaking slightly, a typical reading will be 80 ppm.
Good luck.
