Default do i need to reset ecu if i change petrol type?

ive got a my00 classic turbo remapped to 310.5 bhp using bp ultimate, i now want to start using optimax so do i need to reset the ecu to get the most out of it or will it just adapt to suit? if i do reset the ecu will it effect the new map?

thanks james

For a "quicker" transition a reset will help, otherwise the ECU will re-adjust anyway but may take longer.

Doubt re-setting your ECU will affect MAP....
