Default Standard back box internals..

Now this is going to sound like a funny question but does anyone know what sort of design is used on the standard back boxes.

The box in question is from a 2006 WRX, it has a single 3.5" exit..

I assume this is not a straight through pipe but my question is does it use a single baffle plate or do the inlet and outlet feed from different chambers? If its a single baffle plate like most "OEM" performance items its a simple case of "smashing the **** out of it" as they say to get some growl.. But with the latter if I carry out the same operation it will be fubar'ed.

Good luck when you put your car in the 'for sale' forum.
