2002 type Uk Prodrive
I have just bought a 2002 STi type Uk with the prodrive pack fitted, do they really get 300 bhp and how is this achieved over the standard STi.
Is there anything that is not rated as very good with the prodrive pack that I should look at changing, and would people still recommend a Knock Link.
One final question I had another Scooby a couple of years ago which was fitted with Cusco's and set up at the PowerStation is this still the best way to go suspension wise or has something come along that is much better.
thanks in advance

Full details here.
Basically for the STi you get:
ECU mods - either ecutek for later mods or originally a piggyback chip for car modded in the early days
exhaust mods - forget exacty what, single outlet back box definetly, pretty sure it has decatted centre section and I think a low restriction motorsport cat in the front pipe
boost control - a restrictor is fitted in one of the solenoid pipes
fuel pump - uprated, not originally fitted but fitted later in a recall
As for power it was 305ps which equates to 301bhp. Lots of rolling road tests claim it doesn't make the full 301bhp, numbers like 280bhp bandied around. Prodrive say this is due to the way the rolling road tests are carried out.
But forget the numbers, you must have it, it transforms the car! Standard STi's are hard work to drive, you're forever changing gear with the 6 speed box. After PPP it pulls harder from lower down and power keeps going right thro to the red line so you need to change gear much less often. How the car would have been from new without the EU treehugging meddlers no doubt.
