Hello,
The mrs has been asking what she should get me for my '94 WRX. I'd like a full decat system, but also some other bits i have been thinking about.
Z4 ECU - there's one for sale on here but i'm not sure what i can expect to gain, retarded/advanced ignition ? better throttle response ?
TD05 turbo - not even sure if this would fit, is this larger than the turbo i currently have ?
Induction kit/ K and N filter ? If so i expect an induction kit is more beneficial then just a straight K and N ? Are K and N the best Filters/Inductions when it comes to scoobs ?
Any help would be appreciated, as you can tell i'm a noob, not when it comes to engines, just scoobs. I've cleaned the outside up a touch but now needs a little attention under the bonnet.
Thanks

Looks much better - alloys, sills/spats and best rear spoiler imo (same as my MY00
).
Surely have to de-tango next?
Then STi rear lights?
Maybe then grill and lower splitter - my old MY95 had a V6 grill and Jun (copy) splitter and looked great.
Engine/Power:
Z4 ecu will give you an easy extra 20bhp, and will be quite happy on Optimax - its a very similar map to the prodrive of the time. My MY95 WRX had a Z4 and no worries with Optimax alone, even after full decat (fitted a knocklink and no activity).
Fully decat with a Z4 ecu, and you should be running 260-270 bhp.
My old WRX had Afterburner downpipe and centre with a Ninja backbox - great combo if you like it pretty loud and big.
Don't bother with the induction kit, just change the panel filter to a Green, JR or STi replacement.
