Default what gives a uk away from an import ?

i used to think it was the air con, but have seen some uk models with air con, so, if some1 says to me, its a uk model, engine bay wise, any clues, the only other 1 i can think of is the indicator stork being the opposite side ?!?!!?

cheers.......

there are many differences dependent on year, model, ect... just to add some more different body colours, different bumpers (rear) , no sti uk classic shape! the list will go on as for td05 these are fitted to some uk wagons so it starts to get complicated!

Besides rear wiper and not having headlight washers...
The import radio aerial is usually ( some models excepted) on nearside rear quarter and electric operated, not on drivers side external A frame.
Look for a rear fog not incorporated into rear clusters ( altho some guys have done this)
No side skirts ( could well be an RA )... **** lost track and cant think
ooo another one, maybe a roof vent
no spoiler at all, could be an RA
Only 2 doors (classics) and not a P1 or 22B

empty cig packets with jap writing errr..

you could always hide where the headlight squirters were

put the squirters to good use though , they are behind the no. plate to spray the fmic

Short chassis number on Japanese imports. It's only 6 or 7 digits IIRC. Electric folding mirrors are a giveaway, or a lightweight bonnet, or climate control (not air con), or a bright red emergency flare near the passenger side kick panel, or Japanese signs on the sun visors, etc etc.
