Default Turbo and Injectors

I have just bought a VF30 to replace my Td04, now my VF30 does have the metal water pipes attached to unit so will the Td04 ones fit, i looked at it and it looks like it will but want to make sure.

Also i cant get hold of any STi injectors so can anyone recommend any other ones i can get?

Fully Decatted H&S Including upipe
Remap
Uprated Fuel pump
Bigger IC

Should run 300bhp i think

Just dont no what Injectors to get

Cheers

Have you tried www.flat4online.co.uk for the injectors
Also a VF34 or VF35 is a straight swap for the TD04 and is good for about 350bhp

Because i just bought a VF30 but it only has the water pipe Bolts No oil Bolt and No Metal Water pipes, i thought the td04 would fit.

I thought it would fit straight on.

Can i get these pipes from the main dealer and also will the TD04 Oil pipe and bolt Fit in the VF30?

Does the Oil line and bolt from a TD04 fit on the VF30?

I may be able to get the water pipes from the main dealer?

The oil line will fit OK but may need a little bending to be perfect. Alternatively there are some braided oil lines being sold on Ebay at the moment.

I swapped over to a VF35 and found that the existing banjo bolt on my 2004 TD04 was already a correct one for a VF series - bit puzzling as classic TD04s I looked at had a bigger passageway?
Take off the banjo bolt now and double check what you have - you are after one with a 2/3mm hole (don't loose the copper gaskets doing this).

Flat4online dont offer any sort of warrenty in there stuff.
Spen 700 quid on a turbo and if it Blows in 2 days theres no come back.

Bit Risky, i would of bought it from there but that put me off.

Got Sti Injectors now but was going to get a VF34 Turbo from them.

Default turbo swap

I have just swapped out my td04 turbo for a vf28 this weekend , the oil line fitted no problem and had the small hole banjo bolt, the water pipes go on if you cut the joining web between the two pipes (cant see any problem as other cars dont have this) and works a treat, and a big gain in performance over the td04.

The only thing different I have noticed is the spin down noise from the turbo when the engine is switched off, not sure if all IHI turbos are like this.

Default NOISE

Its not seriously loud but It wasnt there with the TD04, and the VF28 is a roller bearing turbo so Im told, and seems to spin for a long time after switching off.

I've often wondered why a bigger turbo (VF34/35) needs the smaller holed banjo bolt, you'd have thought it would be the other way around. Is it to create higher oil pressure..?

Also, can someone confirm that a swap from a TD04 (05 WRX) to a VF35 uses same pipework/fittings..? The VF35 I have has all the pipework with it, but no banjo bolts.

VF turbo bearings only need a small oil feed otherwise they choke.

03 TD04 uses same fittings as VF35, but I found the oil feed rigid pipe needed slightly bending to get banjos to square up. In the end I bought a braided feed pipe.
