Re-mapping

Re-mapping
Since I got my Scoob, all I've heard about modding is that everything needs to be re-mapped once you've modded it.
My questions are:
Is it the standard ECU that is re-mapped or just the fuelling?
Or is a piggyback ECU used?
Also I would like to know if the PPP ecu can be re-mapped.
Thanks

depends on the year..
no point remapping the PPP ecu although it can be.. better to sell on and remap a standard one (if standard ecu is mapped able version (depending on which year)).

the standard ecu can be ecutek remapped, or a replacement aftermarket ecu can be used like Apexi for example. Piggy back like unichip can be used but I wouldn't recommend that.
No point remapping the PPP ecu, sell and take a part ex of a standard ecu and get the standard one remapped if going for an ecutek.
Decision on whether to go ecutek or replacement ecu has been discussed on here a fair bit..
