Hi,

I just wandering what the benifit of fitting an EGT guage is..????

(i.e. why would you need to monitor the egt?)

Helps to let you know if the car is running lean or rich based on the EGT! Can stop you melting a piston (hopefully!).

I run one as well as a W/B AFR (now and again)650 at cruise and 880 MAX at WOT.
