Changing seats in a 2001 wrx
I've just bought an interior out of an sti version 7 to replace the one in my 2001 wrx, the thing is the front seats that are in it at the moment have side air bags where as the sti ones dont. So when i swap them over how will i stop the air bag light coming on? thanks in advance.

Try doing a search
You need to poke a resistor into the socket on each side. From memory I think its a 3.3KOhm or something. Mine cost around 10p each

It is very simple - unplug the socket under the seats - there will be a socket poking up from under the carpet - insert a resistor in each sie of the socket (secure with tape) and you are sorted. I believe you can buy a special adapter at £35 a side, but whats the point?
It sounds a bit heath robinson, but it works great and is virtually free - go do a search in interior.

How many "homs" should be in the resistor?
Best Regards
