piston slap
hey guys just looking for abit of advice/options for my motor
its a 93 jdm wrx and is suffering pretty bad with piston slap even when hot. ive been quoted £4946 for a full engine rebuild.. thats worse case i think (new everything) and to be honest thats money i just dont have, been hearing alot about the 2.5 short block, is this a good and much cheaper way go to? id rather keep the car at 2 litre for now for insurance reasons but looking at different options for the engine. and ive heard the short block comes complete, pistons, rods, crank, shells etc ???? all for around £1450??
very greatful for any advice on this as i really wanna get it sorted, have arounf 3 k to spend right now

Call me ! [ Thanks Andy ] l'll get you sorted out.
Nearly 5 grand for a rebuild ?? On a 93 car ? You'd buy another car for that much - with a working engine - someones having a laugh.......
