Default how does the prop shaft come out of the gearbox ?

i am removing engine/gearbox complete, i just cant see how prop shaft comes out of box, i have removed the 9 bolts that hold the plate on where the shaft goes in,but until tomorrow i wont see if this releases the shaft, will it, if not, how does it come out of box for engine/gearbox removal ??

cheers.....

put the bolts back in! undo the prop at the rear diff and centre bearing, prop slides out the box easily.

oh,too late to put em in, oil is running out LOL.

so it just slides out, if i remove the engine/gearbox, can i just pull the engine/gearbox away from the prop shaft for it to slide out of gearbox ?

cheers.....

You could but that's the really hard way! Do like Zen performance suggested andf remove the 4 bolts from in front of the rear diff and the 2 bolts of the centre bearing. Once they're off th eprop bends in the middle and you can pull it out of the box. Much easier...
