Any advice on bolt on turbo that can make easy over 400hp but has a very very good spool up? Engine 2.5L tarmac hillclimp.

TD06-20g would produce 400 no problems on a 2.5 with the right setting up and supporting mods. If you're looking for more then a td06-49 should be good for nearer 450.

tbh to make the most of a turbo you need it to be on the limit of the power your after, otherwise you will have lag big time i would suggest garrett gt28 just for the 400 plus mark

TD06 49lb garret hybrid from Andy F (AFP6-49) should give you over 400bhp with good spool up on a 2.5
