Default Recommend me a boost controller

I'm getting my Apexi mapped by Andy F soon, at the moment i have a Genuine Dawes device fitted. I know you can link the apexi boost controller to the ECU should i buy one of these or something like a AVC-R

I had an HKS EVC 5 in my Classic. Andy mapped to two boost settings and it also had a scramble mode which I didn't bother with the be honest. Discreet bit of kit which enabled me to locate it in the ashtray.

Price new is quite expensive but i bought second hand for £240.00
