Take the intercooler off and you'll see it sticking straight up out of the crankcase. It's close to the turbo-intercooler pipe and has one pipe leading off to the underneath of the throttle body, the other one plumbs in to the inlet pipe before the turbo.

OK, well that doesn't seem to be blocked so not sure why it is blowing the seals. Is there a valve that could be pressurising?

have you tried removing the oil filler cap whilst the engine is idling.. if it more than a moderate warm air puffing out then there is a pressure problem..
is the seal getting blown out or leaking?

So what could be causing the pressurisation - I checked the crankcase breather (at least what I think is the breather - feeds into the inlet pipe and goes into top of engine below the turbo) and this seems to be clear.
