Default in a dilemma and confused - help required about CLUTCH and BOOST

HI PPL
I POSTED ANOTHER THREAD ABOUT " HOW DO I KNOW IF MY CLUTCH IS GONE"

AND I WAS TOLD TO DO A TEST

TEST 1 - DRIVING AT 30MPH SHIFT IT IN TO R4TH AND ACCELAERTAE AND IF REVS SHOOT UP BUT SPEED DONT THEN THAT MEANS THE CLUTCH HAS GONE

TEST 2 - PULL UP THE HAND BRAKE, PUT IT IN A HIGHER GEAR AND TRY TAKING OFF, IF IT DONT STALL AND I SMELL RUBBER BURN THAT ALSO MEANS THE CLUTCH HAS GONE

NOW THE PROBLEM IS

WHEN I TIRED TEST ONE

GEAR ONE - REVS SHOOT UP - SPEED DONT
GEAR TWO - REVS SHOOT UP BUT SPEED DONT
GEAR THREE, FOUR AND FIVE - CAR SLOWLY INCREEASES SPEED BUT REVS DONT SHOOT HIGH

WITH THE TEST TWO

I PUT IT IN THIRD GEAR AND TRIED TAKING OFF, CAR DID NOT STALL, ALOT OF BURNING SMELL AND SMOKE COMING FROM BONNET VENT

NOW GUYS DOES THAT MEAN MY CLUTCH HAS GONE?

I HAVE ALSO LOST ALOT OF PERFORMANCE, MY BOOST DONT KICK IN AS IT USED TO, AND THE SPEED PICK UP IS SLOW

MY CAR USED TO BOOST AT 0.5 BAR
NOT IT BOOSTS JUST A LITTLE AT 0.7

COULD THIS BE BECAUSE OF THE CLUTCH

PLEASE REPLY

Young man you are indeed confused to the point where you are starting to confuse us! Forget your above tests especially two! If your clutch hasn't gone it will with that. Is your biting point high? When you are pulling away on an incline (uphill) does the car struggle or not? If the answer is yes to BOTH then your clutch is going/gone. Smoke and smell is usually a good indicator of a worn/ failing clutch something which you have had in abundance. Now I would suggest you get your clutch replaced.

yes the biting point is very high
yes the car does does struggle uphill

also would the car loose alot of performance if the clutch is gone or going?

Yes it would as the clutch is not transferring drive from engine to gearbox. The car will boost as normal but it will not go anywhere fast (pardon the pun!)
