Default can i de-chip a scooby ecu?

i had my car chipped and mapped at scoobyclinic and wondered if i can de-chip the ecu myself???

help apreciated!!!

looking on the search theres something about the chip and a resistor?? is this just fitting??

my mate wants to buy the car but without the chip for insurance reasons. I will take the chip off and sell it hopefully...

If they socketed it, then it should just lever out with a small flat blade screwdriver.
You then need to rejoin the J1 resistor with a wire link.
