Wink Parts needed asap...

Gone to put the block together yesterday... and we've noticed the sump its slightly bent... and probably ain't gonna seal right... could tap it back, but I think its a excuse to put a baffled one on...
So... wheres the cheapest place to get a baffled sump from???

Also, something else which has come to light... the 2 idlers, one is very slightly noisey, the other has alittle play... so don't wanna risk building it up for it to go twang...
So... wheres the cheapest/ best place to go for these parts???

Need them asap so I can start the build...

Mark @ Lateral will have some idlers i suspect 02084205444

He could possibly have an old style sump too.

There are loads of different variants of baffled sumps around

Is that a NEW tensioner in your picture or an old one recompressed?

We tend to use a NEW one everytime with Phase 2 tensioners (which that is), and for what they cost, its worth it.

David @ API does exchange baffled sumps at a cost effective price.

But for the ultimate in quality engineering..................it has to be Mark @ Lateral. Superb peice of engineering is the only way to describe his sumps

1 & 2 are now the same idlers (they used to be different parts)

Ring Mark, and tell him you want the 2 big idlers to the left of the crank.

Agree 100%

Manage to get between 6.5 and 7 litres in mine, and it works well.

Wink

All sorted and on there way now... cheers for all your help...
Went to David @ APi for the sump... and Mike @ CAMSKILL for the two idlers... £43 quid for the pair was hard to beat...
Cheers again all...
Can get it built up when it all arrives...
