Hi all ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
My MY03 WRX is slightly modified, and has had an Tek3 remap. It drives fine, and i love it, etc, etc.
Now a weird thing happens when i have the air-con on. It drives like a different car, has flat spots, lacks umph, and i find matching gear change speeds a bloody nightmare. Any ideas on why this is?
I cannot belive how much power it loses with air-con on.
Now that i could handle, but the flat spots and crap driving i cant.
Feels so laggy it is unreal.

Did you buy the ECU off the shelf?

the only setting i thought was how many revs to drop/gain then its switched on/off
when the Aircon kicks on it does feel like a small jolt.

I'm fortunate to say that mine is fine though I do notice a dip in performance overall which is of course to be expected.
