hi i posted a thread last night regarding my p1 cutting out . well i think i hit fuel cut , then would not start after this . well had a look today ,and put the original p1 ecu back in to see if there was any cels . and yes there was the maf sensor . the car starts but wont tick over and the check lights on , now i know there not the reliablest of parts . but the car will not run at all with the power fc on , it starts then dies . the car was mapped about two weeks ago with a 2.5 short motor , new fuel pump and panel filter with fully decatted exhaust . what i want to know is with a ****ed maf sensor will the power fc not run the car at all. any ides thanks kirby32

if your maf is knackered you dont want to be running the car anyway. Especially on a new engine.

If the MAF has failed causing a CEL on the original ecu then probably not. Check the etc/sensors page on the FC commander, an x indicates the sensor is stuffed.
