Default dials won't work

partner has just replaced the dials on the car and now none of the needles are working?
anyone got any ideas what the hell has happened here?

most likely cause is the hes broke a link on the back. As in all the metal lines on back. Easy to nick one of something. Possible has done this and broken circuit.

stew rechecked everything last night while at work, everything is coneected from what he can see, but now the car keeps juddering when he drives it, and the check the engine light has now come on? also the temperature and fuel guages do work now, the rev counter is stuck at 2000 and goes up really slowly, and what the hell has he done????

done the same thing with the rev counter, mine kept sticking after changing the faces..took the needle off again and placed it on abit more loose and works fine now

i meant metal lines on back. not connections. but obviously something else.
