I would have thought a lower intercooler temp would give colder air and a few more BHP, is this right ?

Also would this affect the engine negatively by way of stability / reliability / warranty ?

If this is worth it, would it be easy to fit / take long ?

I have heard of people fitting these and yes they will make a difference if small. This is the kind of thing that should be way down your shopping list though.

Save your money for more worthwhile mods, if you have everything else ie handling, decat, uprated turbo etc then go for it.

OK, cheers for the info. I have a MY05 STI PPP and will be going for an STI Panel filter. Due to warranty I don't want to do too much that is apparrent, just subtle changes for a slight improvement where possible.
