Starts but dont run for more then 5 seconds?

Hi ppl, Here we go... i have a 94 sti i just rebuild, well when i say just its taken a year.
Its had these mods thrown at it.
arius pistons
eagle rods
ally flywheel
vf34
full stainless exhaust/headder
gas flowed heads/metal gaskets
fmic
600cc injectors/power fc (not fitted yet)
Any way it cranks and starts then runs lumpy for about 5 seconds then cuts out then you hear the fuel pumps stop so fuels not a issue. First off i dont have the lambda in but i dont think this would make corse a problem? Im not sure if i have the coil and injector plugs the right way round do they go light grey to the front of the engine on both? come on ppl i want to get it running tonight it sounds so loud

Ok i've tried swapping injector plugs over every which way and it still runs :O but cuts out after it comes off fast idle i.e. 5 seconds if i rev it it runs longer but wants to die if i let off. i dont have a pipe on the idle control vaule but wouldn't of thought this would be a problem seeing it only pipes into the intake after the air filter.

injector plugs are the darker ones to the back of the engine, lighter colour to the front.
Is the MAF plugged in?
double check the ht leads are pushed fully home.

Hi, just a thought,i had very similar problems with my 2.5 conversion,which i was running 740's on. It started but was overfueling really badly,due to a standard chiped ecu,the plugs were getting saturated with fuel,so had to put the standard injectors back in untill i get an apexi power fc.
Also,does the engines idle change if you unplug any injectors? this is a good indication to see if it's running on all 4 cylinders,i've had mine running on just one head,(swoped cams,doh!)and it didn't sound that bad!.
