Default MY06 WRX Prodrive backbox

Hello,
A couple of questions for you guys,Im due to pick my 1st scooby( 06 Wrx) up at the end of the month and i would like to change the backbox for a Prodrive one.The thing does'nt sound like a scooby at the moment

1,There is one on the subaru uk site Prodrive Stainless Steel Rear Silencer SACC2147
£350 ,is there any place doing them any cheaper?

2,Is the Prodrive Stainless Steel Rear Silencer the same one you get with the PPP upgrade
Cheers for your help
Andy

The round tailpipe version is the one supplied with the PPP The Prodrive WR sport version has an oval tailpipe but with the same internals.
With the 06 you're not going to get the Scooby burble, but it will sound much nicer with a rear box change.
Why not consider the TSL group N box at £175? Every bit as good, if not better!

I'm having this very same debate. Some people say changing the bb will return the burble, others say the resonated centre is the problem
I would like the burble back but not too loud!

Is the MY06 bb the same fitment as previous new-age?

i have the The Prodrive WR sport on my 06 but I am going to sell it and get a afterburner as I am looking for more noise as the WR sport is a little too sensible for me (and its my 1st Scooby and I love the sound) WR sport does give burble

I will be selling it (its been on the car since April 1st) just not had time to buy a afterburner yet

I bought my car with WR exhaust on it.
