In order from the cylinder heads onwards-
Headers (exhaust manifold- snake like thing under front of car)
up pipe (single pipe about a foot long)
Turbo
Downpipe (curves down underneath the passenger seat floor pan)
centre section
Back box

Yep New age WRX's have a cat in the up-pipe ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
In high power mods the EGT temps rise with the possibillity of melting the cat in the up-pipe which lunches the turbo ..eeeek !!
That's why I have no cat in my up-pipe
