Default ecutek and boost control options

I am slowly getting around to fitting my td05 16 on an my03 wrx with all the relevant mods.

Will i get any benfit from using an avc-r or will a good 3 port be enough with the ecutek. Am i better off using an electronic boost controller to achieve early boost? Is there any benefit?

Will a psi monitor allow me to adjust the boost via the ecutek. I would like to be able to turn the boost right down when im stuck on the M62!

Will I need an electronic controller to be able to do this?

Lots of questions i know....

Thanks guys

Chris

Did you run a EBC or 3 port?

I'm running a 3 port (setup by Bob) and the spool is wild but I'm kinda heading towards wanting more boost in lower gears and EBC only option for that with my OE ecu...

Chris, your ECU has fully mappable boost control by revs/gear etc so no requirement for an AVCR unless ofcourse you like the look of it
