Default Cam Timing

Hi Everybody,
Am I right in thinking that if the crank mark & the pulley marks are lined up its just a case of putting on the belt.
Cheers

Yes, pretty much.

The new belt will also have timing lines on it that match up to the crank and cam marks.

It's pretty straight forward (I did mine on Thursday), make sure that you check the idler for smoothness and put the tensioner in a vice to compress it before re-installing. Like Normski says, the timing lines on the belt really help!!!

use a genuine belt and the marks will be there.

Definately recommend only a genuine belt
