Question Fuel Pump Identification

Had a remap at SC last thurs and I thought it wise to check the previously fitted? PPP fuel pump. SC said they thought it looked like a standard pump so they put in a Walbro 255 in for me prior to the remap for peace of mind. Can anyone identify it from the following markings before I set about the dealer that did the 03STi PPP (who I shall never use again anyway for other transgressions).

UNISIA JECS
A42H24
020
0316N
(letter C embossed on base).

BTW the SC remap is brilliant, headline figs are about 10% better than PPP but it feels more like 50% on the road.

The Prodrive pump has a black rubber sleeve on the body to kill noise.
The few Prodrive pumps I saw also had the makers marks ground off.

the reason they have the marks ground off is generally because they are Walbro pumps!!

sounds like the std pump above...........

Alyn/Nick,

Thanks for info. I'm now going to take the Dealer to pieces, they could have wrecked my engine.

Cheers, Diccy.
