Default Replacing OE Downpipe - Car currently in garage!

Hello all,

Please can someone help as car is currently sitting in the garage, mechanics wondering what to do!

I want to put the OE downpipe back on my MY00 classic Turbo, taking off the Scoobyworld Ninja Sportscat DP.

The Scoobyworld DP appears to have only one sensor hole, larger diameter than the hole they think is in the OE DP.

They can find no sensor that fits the OE DP and claim there is only one hole on both DPs.

Both Scoobyworld & Powerstation (who fitted the Sportscat) say the orignal lambda sensor will have been used.

What is the sensor in the Scoobyworld DP? Where is the sensor for the OE DP?

Any help appreciated!!

Thanks

the lambda probe is 18x1.5mm its not a standard pitch.
Remove the lambda from the decat, remove the exhaust, fit new exhaust, wire up lambda.
How easy is that for a mechanic?

best advice is get your car back from that garage asap

hi all,

problem now clear and now evident not the garages fault! the (well respected) company who fitted my downpipe decided that rather than give my original back, they would return me with what appears to be a dp for a 2 litre engine..only not a turbo one. half a day and money wasted. scoobyworld exhaust refitted.

cheers
