Default 2.5 WRX STi

Hi Guys n Gals!

New to this forum and a potential Scooby owner - anyone shed any light on the pros of a 2.5 over a 2.0 STi, is it better, a lot better or just different?

Really wanted one for a long time, but it's never fitted in the bigger picture, now with the £3000 free fuel I'm more tempted than ever. Has anyone here got the new 2.5 STi and what's the verdict on the PPP? Worth the cash or a waste of time - is it noticeable?

Any comments will be appreciated and hopefully I'll soon be an owner AND a member!

Cheers!

Hi

Did a 2.5 conversion on my original UK turbo. The 2.5 feels very nice even without the turbo attached. As far as daily driving, I'd say I change gear a bit less thanks to the extra torque but someone else would have to comment on the PPP (I've gone another route).

Cheers

ive had a my06 2.5 for a couple of weeks and its the biz,as for the ppp not sure been thinking about it myself but hasrd to justify 1800 for .5ish second quicker, theres a lot less noise out the back, miss the loud babbling so thinking of a new exhaust or back box
