Default braided fuel hose

ive bought some to change the normal black rubber stuff under the bonnet, just wondering if there is anything i need to be careful about.

is it a case of a straight swap for the old by undoing the old and refitting the new, or is there any other stuff i need to know, like dry cranking it to make sure there is fuel there after disconnecting the pipes and stuff like that.

any help appreciated
