Which de-cat centre section?!

Which de-cat centre section?!
Afternoon all....
I am in the process of retrofitting a PPP to a MY00 wagon. I have managed to source all of the necessary bits except for the centre de-cat section.
Rather than bust a gut looking for a proverbial hen's tooth, I was planning to buy one of the many alternative offerings, i.e. TSL, Scoobysport, etc.
Question: Does the choice of centre section really make much difference? If so, which one would you advise for use with a genuine Prodrive back box?
Cheers,
Andy

Dunno about the others, but I have a Prodrive backbox and fitted an H & S (Hayward & Scott) 2 piece decat centre pipe, which also takes out the resonator. Nice deep throaty sound, but not overly loud.

Sorry to do a hi-jack.
Looking to do something similiar with a Ninja sports cat downpipe and a Prodrice backbox.
I was advised to use a H&S straight through centre section to replace existing resonator.
Would increase power with no increased noise. Is this correct?

well as the resonator is there to decrease noise I should imagine removing it will increase it. Don't know whether a resonated centre has any restriction on flow compared non-resonated. Prodrive back box isnt particularly noisy tho.

I suppose a lot depends on budget. See me, being skint and currently trying to run 4 cars between me and the wife ( Legacy Turbo, Mondeo Estate, Prelude Si VTEC, 06 Golf plus) somethings gotta give! ) Im fitting a universal backbox thats been hovering around the shed for a while and having pipe welded straight through the centre silencer. Should help in the sound quality stakes anyway!
