Default dump valve

Ok i know this is another dumpvalve thread

picking up my 1995 version3 wrx nxt weekend and wanna know what d/v to fit

i'm drawn towards the ssqv or the forge

The standard one.
It wont mess up your fuelling to start with and yes its quiet, but it does the job its suppose to do, and you gain zero, nothing, ziltch performance from fitting one so spend your money elsewhere.

tried 3 different ones on my wrx 95 and now back to standard ....

as above spend money on something that will give you more powerrrrr

Hey, so is their absolutley nothing to be gained by fitting a D.V? If so why do so many people swear by them, even scooby owners who use their cars for trackday events... I thought the purpose of them was to release the waste air pressure built up by the turbo to improve spool up time..??

For the turbo to spool up it needs to spool down, releasing the gasses spool the turbo down, a recirc actually keeps the gasses flowing though by recirculating them around again so you dont have to spool down/up.
You tell me which ones the better

In reflection i agree with you Mr Burns
I aint had a dump valve fitted myself, the wooosh noise would irritate me after a while
