As per title.

I want an ECU image in BIN or HEX format.

I want to try and decode it and search for the Map address locations.

Prefer Ae801 or Ae802 ECU as I know what the maps look like in these. But any MY99/00 will do for now.

 

I had a quick check on the openecu.org forum but still nothing for that MY. I know somebody who has cracked it but don't know how willingly he'll part with the info, depends it it's for commercial use or not I suspect. PM me if you want the contact.

 

Been hunting on the OpenEcu forum myself. The MY01> is well catered for now, with some very nice logging and ROM decoding software.

I wanna get a ROM for an MY99/00 so I can have a search through the hex file to try and spot the address locations for the maps. I can the create an XML file for importing into the OpenECU stuff.
It may also help some of the techies in OpenECU too.

There's gotta be a way to flash the MY99/00, as it was were it all started from with ECUTEK.

As I'm running an Apexi I'm not that rushed. But with 2 ECU sat in the garage I'm dying to try mapping them too....

 

JECS seems low priority on openecu at the mo. I guess cracking the comms the issue? If a ROM image was available I'm sure they could use the help.

 

Posted the same question on 22B. But just found/read another post regarding OpenECU and think I may get cha'STi'sed by the ECUTEK dealers that reside on there .
