carbon canister question

carbon canister question
quick question guys,
got a 97 uk turbo, decat, the question is about the carbon canister, it has 3 hoses coming from it, one of which is linked into the boost system ('T' into solonoid, also linked into bottom of induction hose)
can i remove this system as the the carbon canister wont be doing a lot with no cat?
