Default boost

ive had my scoob for nearly a month and a half, it is fitted with a G-redy boost gauge, ive never really noticed what it boosts at but i went out in it today and opened it up a bit going over the top roads, after a bit it felt like it wasnt coming on full boost so i looked at the gauge and it was reading 0.6, is this boosting right?

I don't believe myself to be an expert, I can tell you though that your boost should be somewhere nearer 0.8bar as standard. Could it be the gauge thats inaccurate? Perhaps check all the hoses to and from turbo and acuator first before you get too worried. Personally speaking I would'nt cane it until you solve it.

You should really get it checked out. Lots of things you can try. Could be so many different things. Is just a case of checking things systematically, start with the most obvious. Check to see if ECU throws up any fault codes, check hoses and gaskets. It may be summut real cheap, you never know..
