was going to change the oil today ive had it 3 months and its due a service, i have done air filter, fuel filter, plugs.the car has a full service history all subaru apart from its last service which must of been a numpty garage because i cant get the sump plug off no way and the oil filter has been put on by king kong i think.dont want to take it to subaru because they dont prefil the oil filter and unplug crank sensor (so ive been told) so i would rather do it myself but no way can i get they sump plug loose.
anyone any ideas or experienced similar probs.

im in the northwest mate, thinking of taking it to a local garage but i know the response im going to get when i ask them to pre fil the oil filter and remove crank sensor,
durrr dont need to do that we have never done that before and we have been in business for 1,000,000 years.
i thought the plugs would of been the tricky bit not the oil change.

should not be a problem for them, just make sure they know where th sensor is, and that they know what happens if the dont follow your instructions.

i look after scoobs in Reading, very understanding with our servicing
