I'm going to have a little play with my 1993 WRX over the coming weeks and need a suitable boost controller for it. I've never had any experience of these before so I'm after some advice.
Ideally I'd like one adjustable in the cabin. What is a good one to get? Will they all fit my 1993 WRX or should I be looking for some specific models?
I knw that the stock ECU cuts boost at about 1.2 bar but I have a workaround for this so 1.4 bar will be achievable (well thats if the engine/gearbox can take it).

 

Just make sure you get the AFRs checked as more boost will require more fuel/air otherwise it will run lean and go bang also 1.4 bar might require more than the std 380cc injectors

 

Got some 440cc injectors in the pipeline and a knocklink to check for det, and also have a suitable map for 1.4 bar with the 440cc's. Just need a bit of assistance with whether one boost controller is actually better than another for any reason. for example is there anything wrong with this:

the ecu cuts at 1 bar and i think the apexi avcr would be the best controller
